IMPLEMENTATION OF THE VISA FREE REGIME IN KENYA
Following the presidential directive that Kenya will be a visa free country from January 2024, a digital platform http://www.etakenya.go.ke has been developed to ensure that all travelers to Kenya are identified in advance through an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system.
All travelers coming to Kenya shall henceforth be required to have an ETA before being allowed to enter the Republic of Kenya.

2022 JAMHURI DAY SPEECH BY PR, AMB (DR.) CLEOPA MAILU, EGH
The Kenya Mission to United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva celebrated Jamhuri Day on 12.12.2022. The highlight of the celebration was the speech by the Permanent Representative to invited Kenyans and diginitaries.

TRANSFER OF CONSULAR SERVICES FROM GENEVA TO BERN
Kindly note that effective 1st July 2021, consular services were be transferred from the Permanent Mission in Geneva to the Embassy in Bern. For more information, click here to visit the Embassy website.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON VISA ISSUANCE
The Government of the Republic of Kenya has fully automated the issuance of visa with effect from January 1, 2021.
In this regard, all passengers travelling to Kenya from countries that require visas to enter Kenya shall be required to apply and obtain e-visa before boarding an aircraft as no visas will be issued on arrival.
